Bachelor Degree Programs

1. Bachelor Degree in Community Development

Entry Requirements:

  1. Form VI (ACSEE) leavers with at least two Principal passes in Arts subjects with total points not below 4.0 obtained from scoring A = 5, B+ = 4, B= 3, C= 2, D = 1 and E = 0.5 for those who completed studies in 2014 onwards, or
  1. Form VI (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes in Arts subjects with total points not below 3.5 obtained from scoring A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2 and E = 1 and S = 0.5 for those who completed studies before 2014, Or
  1. Ordinary Diploma in Community Development, Gender Issues and Development, Adult Learning and Community Development, Social work, Rural Development, Psychology and Counseling, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Local Government Administration, Records and Librarianship, Project Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Law, or other related fields from training institutions recognized by NACTVET or TCU, with at least second class or B average. Applicants with diploma qualification must also have passed O-level Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four passes (D or above)

2. Bachelor Degree of Education in Kiswahili and History

  1. Form VI (ACSEE) leavers with at least two Principal passes in Kiswahili and History with total points not below 4.0 obtained from scoring A = 5, B+ = 4, B= 3, C= 2, D = 1 and E = 0.5 for those who completed studies in 2014 onwards, or
  1. Form VI (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes in Kiswahili and History with total points not below 3.5 obtained from scoring A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2 and E = 1 and S = 0.5 for those who completed studies before 2014, Or
  1. Ordinary Diploma in Education, in Adult Education, in Education and Religious Studies, in Adult Learning and Community Development, in Adult and Continuing Education, in Distance Education,  or other related fields from training institutions recognized by NACTVET or TCU, with at least second class or B average. Applicants with diploma qualification must also have passed O-level Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four passes (D or above)
